I am a creator who loves collaboration. Being involved in story telling in many different capacities has resulted in my life's most juicy, joyful, and meaningful moments.
I am originally from Montana, and the answer is, "Yes!" I do miss it, and "Yes!" I also equally love NYC. Duplicitous...I know.
At the University of Montana I earned a BFA in acting. In 2007 I became a founding member of The Buttenik Ensemble, creating all original devised works which incorporated live music and film into each production. I then ventured to Seattle continuing to act, direct, and create original works with Annex Theatre, Helsinki Syndrome, Sound Theatre Company, Ghost Light Theatericals, as well as many incarnations of the Buttenik Ensemble.
When I was 3 or 4 years old I saw the opening credits to SNL and dreamt of living in NYC from that point on. In 2009 my childhood dream came true. Since living in New York I have had the pleasure to work on many of my favorite projects including: The Wolf and The Woodstove, Three Day Hangover's Twelfth Night or Sir Toby Belch's Lonely Hearts Club Cabaret, The Case of Josephine H., Three Sisters, The Hamlet Project, and FCKNLZ on Broadway. In 2015 I founded the MT+NYC Collaborative, a performace collaborative supporting artists creating new works in NYC and Montana.
